About the Journal

The Journal of Sustainable Infrastructure (JSI) is a specialized academic and professional platform dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles. We welcome contributions from a diverse range of authors, including researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners. All articles should be in either English or Indonesian and must be original pieces of work that haven't been published elsewhere. Additionally, articles should not be under consideration for publication in other journals. Our central focus is on cutting-edge research and innovative designs related to infrastructure development, particularly those in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Detailed Scope of JSI:

  1. Infrastructure of Offshore: This area delves into the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of structures in the offshore environment, including platforms, wind farms, and other related marine facilities.

  2. Structure and Geotechnical: This encompasses research on the mechanics of structures and soils, foundation engineering, and advancements in construction materials and methods.

  3. Civil Engineering: Articles in this category cover a wide range of sub-disciplines, including transportation engineering, hydraulic engineering, and construction management.

  4. Environmental Science and Technology: Research here focuses on the integration of technology and environmental sciences, addressing challenges in pollution control, green technologies, and sustainable processes.

  5. Environmental Management: This scope covers strategies and practices for sustainable environmental planning, conservation, protection, and rehabilitation.

  6. Water and Wastewater Treatment: Topics include advancements in purification processes, waste minimization, and the sustainable management of water resources.

  7. Sanitation: Emphasizing innovative solutions and best practices for waste management, hygiene promotion, and improved sanitation facilities.

  8. Clean Energy: Here, we explore renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, storage technologies, and the future of sustainable energy.

  9. City and Regional Development: Research on urban planning, infrastructure development, and sustainable regional growth strategies is highlighted.

  10. Climate and Environment Adaptation and Mitigation: This includes research on climate-resilient infrastructure, carbon-neutral strategies, and environmental risk management.

  11. Life Below Water and Land: This category focuses on sustainable practices and innovations that promote the health and well-being of aquatic ecosystems and terrestrial landscapes.

Our aim at JSI is not just to showcase academic rigor but also to shed light on practical applications that drive sustainability in the realm of infrastructure development.
